Spotting

Description:

Pretty sure this is some kind of bumblebee, but not sure what species. Thorax is mostly yellow fuzz and some black. Abdomen seems to be bands of yellow and smaller stripes of black.

Habitat:

This was found in a meadow area near several kinds of thistle, common milkweed, black eyed susans, and other wildflowers.
