Illeis galbula
This little ladybird landed on my arm before flying onto a camelia leaf. Non-native species in New Zealand of Australian origin . About 5mm long with bright yellow with black markings.
Adults and larvae seen feeding on the fungus and black mould on grapefruit tree leaves.
There are about 40 ladybird species in New Zealand, more than half of them are native.
