in Bandung, we call this 'Ulat Metal' (Metal caterpillar) because of its great hair. so far, we only find this in Dago Pakar, our conservation forest

This is unlikely to be one of the Megalopyge. The Megalopyge - and all of the Megalopygidae- are New World species, found in the Americas and adjacent New World tropics. They are not found in Asia.

Finally, I found the genus of this caterpillar! ᕙ(`▽´)ᕗ This woolly caterpillar is from Megalopyge sp., Flannel Moth Caterpillar..
