Sarcophaga sp.
A medium to large fly; approx 18mm wingtips to face at rest; thorax - three dark stripes on gold; red eyes; gold face.
Resting on leaf of 'banksia rose' in suburban back yard.

Looks like a Flesh Fly (Sarcophagidae sp.).
As real as the silver fly is silver.
