Yellow Flesh Fly

Sarcophaga sp.

Description:

A medium to large fly; approx 18mm wingtips to face at rest; thorax - three dark stripes on gold; red eyes; gold face.

Habitat:

Resting on leaf of 'banksia rose' in suburban back yard.
