Red legged bug with foot parasites

Lampromicra aerea

Description:

RED LEGGED BUG Lampromicra aerea. This insect could not walk because of several large yellow lobed appendages on its toes. What could these be? Suggestions please.

Habitat:

The bug was found on Asclepsia (milkweed) in Sydney.

Notes:

The only reference I can find provides no image. http://www.discoverlife.org/mp/20q?guide... Here is another member of this genus. http://gvcocks.homeip.net/Hemiptera/Scut... http://www.qm.qld.gov.au/Find+out+about/... http://www.flickr.com/photos/58356728@N0...
