Flat-faced Longhorn Beetle

Stibara morbillosa (Fabricius, 1798)

Description:

A pair of long segmented antenna, Clearly visible antenna base shafts, Light brown elytra with dark brown spots at the edges, Resembles a leather bag at first glance. Length : ~12 mm Season : Rainy season Time : 5:30 pm Behavior : brave, human-friendly, not even responding to cell phone flash light and foot/slippers sound. It looks like quite observer just waving antenna around without even moving.

Habitat:

Spotted inside the car parking very close to open abandoned area with lot of plants.

Notes:

Must be some long-horn beetle species from family Cerambycidae
