There are 5 or more scarlet red Neurothemis species...Look at your photo number 2, at the border of the red color on the hind wing. Now look at terminata http://dragonsndamsels.blogspot.com/2007... Frazier...I found in another sites that the scientific name for this creature is Neurothemis terminata :)

Thanks Frazier... I named it Scarlet...because I really don't know what kind of dragonfly it is. Just love to see it fly around my back yard.
