Tiny lavender Flowers in bunches. Each flower less than 5 mm diameter. Possibly this is Mistflower, Eupatorium (Conoclinium) coelestinum (http://www.robsplants.com/stock/photo.ph...).

Habitat:

Growing wild in the roadside vegetation, Malpaso Dam, Chiapas.

Thank you Karen, it sure does! Even the leaves look the same. I'll put it as a probable. Hopefully someone can confirm.

Looks a bit like my mistflower, Eupatorium coelestinum, here in Florida. I can't tell if it's found in Mexico, however. So I won't officially make the ID suggestion.
