Description:

Recently fledged juvenile. Probably left this nest within hours of being photographed. Note downy feathers on top of head visible in the first photo, and very short tail (still growing) visible in the second photo.

Habitat:

Cloud forest. 1950 meters above sea level.

Notes:

Visit to Uyuca Biological Reserve, with Club BioZ.

Es un individuo hembra de esta especie, por su coloración marrón oscuro. Mientras que el macho es de color negro, excepto por el pico y patas de color amarillo, y el anillo ocular pálido.

Turdus infuscatus se distribuye en los bosques de América Central y el sureste de México principalmente. El macho y la hembra presentan diferentes características morfológicas en cuanto a tamaño y color.
