Description:

Near black upper wings with straight white lies. Dark orange under wing with black spots. Light orange underside. About 30 mm long.

Habitat:

Fed for over 30 minutes on the flowers of a mint plant in my south facing back garden

Notes:

Unusual wing shape with a body more like a butterfly.
