weevil

Description:

Tiny weevil: dark grey with red legs. 1/8 inch or so in length. Looks like a creatire out of a Dr Seuss children's book.

Habitat:

On mallow(hollyhock)

Notes:

Found these tiny weevils on hollyhock and asked the gardener not to remove them until I'd gotten photos. Took two trips to get decent ones. Later found out he carefully removed them by hand and released them in another part fo the garden!
