Description:

Smaller than his counterpart from Africa & Europe; Colour varies depending upon surroundings - brown to greyish; undersides are white. Tufts of soft-hair in-between the sole pads of feet, allows to move easily on sand. Short tail. Large ears with many superficial blood vessels. Air movement around the large ears helps them in reducing body temperature

Habitat:

Open sand & gravel plains, with vegetation
