I have spotted this bird in Healesville. Feather reflects sunlight in variety of colours (see picture).
These are such beautiful birds, and somewhat heavy bodied for a pigeon. We have a family that lives in our bush, and they really make a distinctive whooshing sound with their wings when they take off.
