Moon Jelly

Aurelia sp.

Description:

A wonderful moon jelly swimming happily by the dock!

Habitat:

There are 13 species of moon jellies that are found in many countries worldwide. Moon jellies are a common sight in many areas of coastal BC in the summer months! I have always observed that they seem to come in waves; either they are not present at all, or they are everywhere you look!
