Description:

The common house gecko is a native of southeast Asia but has been spread around the world to various (sub) tropical locations. It is also known as the Pacific house gecko and the Asian house gecko. At this location they are ubiquitous roommates (human commensals) along with H. platyurus and Gekko vittatus.

Habitat:

Houses and buildings as well as the surrounding vegetation in a large semi-urban yard & garden here in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
