A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Felis serval
The serval known in Afrikaans as Tierboskat, "tiger-forest-cat". Somebody from community noted that is very shy cat - it is true, I meet them only once, in sunset, in incredible road along Timbavati river - place where great writer and explorer E. Hemingway lived once.... This is a cat with longest legs among other cats...

Long legs and ears...better to hear and catch prey. Very interesting cat and love the info on Kruger National Park. Would love to visit it one day.
