"This evergreen tree, native to eastern North America, is a dense, slow-growing tree with reddish-brown bark that peels off the trunk in thin strips. Though not a true cedar, the aromatic wood of this juniper is distasteful to moths and therefore used to make “cedar closets” and “cedar chests” for storing clothes. The Eastern Red Ceder is sometimes shaped like a cone. It can grow up to 9.14-13.7 m tall, 4.57-9.14 m wide. The full sun, perfers moist soils but tolerates dry conditions. This evergreen tree is native to eastern North America this tree is also grows very very slowly with redish brown bark that peels off the trunk in thin strips. Really it's not a Cedar the that this tree has attracts Moth's and they make make Cedar closets and Cedar chest to storage their clothings

The Southern Red Cedar tree is shaped like a cone. It can grow up to be 40 to be 50 feet tall. The bark is a blackish-Gray color. The tree has needle-like leaves. The needle-like leaves are dark green. The needle-like leaves are compound. The Southern Red Cedar tree is mostly used for being Christmas trees.
