Eulamprus quoyii
The Skinks moved into the house and now pass in and out as they see fit. Bowing to the inevitable we now supply water in old glass ashtrays and leave the back door open as much as possible although they seem to get access as they need it. I have never been happy with the identification of Eastern Water Skink. http://www.reptilepark.com.au/animalprof... http://www.ozanimals.com/Reptile/Eastern...

Argy, in the references one source claims this species is 10cm or 4 inches which is about a third of the size of these. The other source claims that the Eastern Water Skink have a green sheen on top which these do not. The latter is the reptile park. I am happy enough that they be Eastern Water Skinks. They are wonderful little guys top have about
Nice visitors Stephen. I like watching these guys in action. Haven't seen such brown ones before... ? what else could they be?
