Family Reduviidae, Subfamily Emesinae.
Thread-legged assassin bugs (Emesinae) have beefed-up forelegs equipped with sharp spines for grabbing, impaling, or pinning their prey. Liken this adaptation to the forelegs of praying mantids and “spearer” mantis shrimp.
With 5mm this is the smallest assassin bug I found so far. Though small, it is a ferocious predator, as can be seen in the photo.
