This large tree is also called False Acacia or Yellow Locust. It produces very fragrant clusters of white, edible flowers during a short (about 10 days) blooming period in the spring. It produces very fragrant clusters of white, edible flowers .During a short about 10 days blooming period in the spring it is considered a major flower for honey bees to visit. It is dry to moist soils, especially those derived from limestone, on roadsides and disturbed sites.

This large tree is also called the Yellow Locust it is introduced to Canada.
This tree has fragrant,edible,and have white flowers it's flowers bloom during a period of time in Spring.In the eastern U.S. it is known as a major bee's also loves the honey from the Black Locust flowers.
