Teloschestis chrysophthalmus
Clumps of bright orange-yellow lichen seen on tea-tree branches. As the name "Teloschestis" suggests this lichen has branched tips. It is a fructiose lichen. The apothecia (sexual structures) were a deeper orange with stiff spiny fringes.
Spotted on coastal dunes.
