A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Cacicus cela
The male measures 27 to 29.5 cm of length and the female 22 to 25 cm weighs 60 to 98 g. The young bird has color instead of black soot. Females are much smaller than males. The singing is so varied that sometimes gives the impression of a chorus of several copies. It is common for individuals perfectly imitate other birds and mammals.
It can be found throughout Brazil except in the South in forest edges, meadows, fields with trees, savannas and gallery forests.
