Lesser Antillean Iguana

Iguana delicatissima

Habitat:

Endemic to the Lesser Antilles and the population is declining due to loss of habitat, predation, hunting and interbreeding with the more common Green Iguana.

Notes:

The "jewelry" attached to this iguana is part of a research project on Dominica to study these animals.
