Tiny Stinkbug

Description:

This Cydnidae species of shield bug is tiny, about 4mm in length. This species is a fairly common night visitor. They are known for their pungent smell when disturbed. Even though they are small, they can be still be smelled 2 meters away.

Possibly on the ground.
