Whoa! I am just now seeing this! Do you know if it was found in the NM area? It also looks to be pretty damaged. (ends look chewed off) I think it's the sacrum and tail section from a cow, but I really need to do a little more research before I can be 100% certain.

The bone is approximately 24 inches long and I will post a side view soon. We have explored the fact that it maybe a lizard or croc but cannot find any that look like this.

Welcome to Project Noah. I know little of bones. Maybe a 'side' shot would help the experts. In complete ignorance my guess would be some lizard or croc so actual sizes would help.
