Stem cortex is without spirals, and pores. The photosynthetic cells are clearly visible in the ventral surface of the leaf. Stem hyaline cells divided in distal half of leaf. Only one cell of one leaf surveyed, had fibrils. Branch leaf pores are large, many to few. The leaves don't seem to be clearly 5 ranked.
