Description:

Tall, blueish gray wading bird Can grow up to 4 feet in height with a wing span of 6-7 feet. S-Shaped neck

Habitat:

The Great Blue Hereon lives year round in marshes and wetlands around the Chesapeake Bay. They can also be found in freshwater lakes, however they are most likely found in shallow waters.
