I did not see any sign on this tree. But the stinging ants near the tree will make one move away after a while. Nice shot of the cannonballs & flowers in your spotting! :)

Very nice series,, here are those balls,,
Cannon ball trees usually carry 'CAUTION' signs posted on the trunks to advise people not to stand close to the tree .. :)

Thank you very much, Kfox. Much credit goes to chief redearth for helping me identify it. I must say the cannonball tree goes no holds barred - everything in large size... Large flower buds, explosive flower and cannonballs, none of which are fragile or delicate. :)
