Myodocha serripes
These little fellows are very cute. Long necked Seed Bugs are of the genus Myodocha with only 2 species. About 8 mm long. Family Rhyparochromidae. This same species has also been found in San Luis Potosí (See: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/198...)
Came to the lights on a wall, Hotel Posada Loma, Fortin de Las Flores, Veracruz. They feed on small seeds. This one can be a pest of strawberries.
