Microcaddisfly

Description:

Family Hydroptilidae. Very tiny, hairy, moth-like in appearance. Dark brown with white markings. Yellowish antennae with dark bands near the tips. Moves around quickly and runs in circles. This little insect was very difficult to photograph!

Habitat:

Suburban backyard. Attracted to a blacklight.
