Western Diamondback Rattlesnake

Crotalus Atrox

Description:

Very young Western Diamondback.

Habitat:

Road through desert grasslands

Notes:

As you can tell by the first picture, he had clearly just eaten something. That looks really uncomfortable. Struck at me about 6 times, all while I was about five feet away.
