Brown marmorated stink bug

Halyomorpha halys

Description:

Accidentally introduced in Allentown PA from packaging coming from Eastern Asia. Feed on farm crops, live in old houses, a personal annoyance in my house, cost the US agriculture millions of dollars, releases an awful odor when in fear or killed to help prevent them from being eaten by lizards or frogs etc.

Habitat:

native to China, Japan, the Korean Peninsula, and Taiwan.
