Habitat:

juveniles are very common among beds of turtle grass (Thalassia testudinum) in shallow waters

Notes:

There were a number of these and many other juvenile fish living in the seagrass meadow. This one was apparently foraging among large mats of sargassum that had accumulated on the seabed.
