A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Very tiny ladybugs (Family Coccinellidae) of about 2 mm in length. They ranged in color from yellow to pink to red. Two are mating in the first picture below a colony of treehopper nymphs.
Tropical forest, River Ravine of the Corazon de Fortin, Fortin de Las Flores, Veracruz, Mexico.

These tiny buggers come in all colors - I suppose because they're so promiscuous! :)
Are those again different species? Crazy Mexican bugs they are all mating together :)
There were only those tiny nymphs present, they must be just first or second instars. Wish there had been adults, I love treehoppers too!

Thank you Gilma! Yes! Those are legs up there. It is a whole bunch of Treehopper nymphs (probably some will be lunch!)
Are those by the branches of the plant a type of spiky bug, I can almost see legs?!
