Golden-tailed Spiny Ant

Description:

The ant is about 2.5 cm long, and 1 cm wide. Its abdomen is mostly black, with one layer of yellow in the middle. The thorax is half black on the bottom, and half dark gold on the top. The head also has a layer of black on the bottom, with dark gold on the top. Its antennas are about 2 cm long. It has six black legs.
