Bark Katydid

Description:

This katydid would never have been seen if it had been on the bark of a tree. It deliberately landed on a dead leaf instead of a green one, and was still difficult to see.

Habitat:

River Ravine of the Corazon del Fortin, Fortin de Las Flores, Veracruz, Mexico.
