4cm and for some reason has wings extended. Jet black although the female may be lighter on her legs and abdomen this is a male. Wings may be extended as a show of agitation or to make the fastest escape should the photographer leave an opportunity
it was too agitated to make better images so it was released

I just woke up lol. Yes that is a male. :) some males have longer wings than others, here they live under fallen trees, and around houses, the wings don't bother them for hiding at all but probably allow males to travel if females are not nearby

Perhaps she just has long wings? I've seen males fly, though usually once females mate they are too heavy to fly from the eggs inside
