Lysimachia thyrsiflora
Found in almost any sort of wet place: streamsides and lake margins, bogs and fens, ditches and moist thickets, wet spots in swamps (cedar, tamarack, black ash). This species is easily recognized by the dense tufts of yellow flowers on long peduncles in the axils of mid-cauline leaves. There is often a little loose pubescence on the leaves along the midrib beneath, in the inflorescences, and on the stem.
