Spotting

Description:

this was a really weird fungus that was allover a large rotting tree branch. it varied from about 1.5 too 3.2 inches wide. And 0.7-1 inch high. ass you can see from the picture there was a slimy, gooy substance that was all over the tree branch. i think that it might have been from passing by sails, but i could be wrong. And there was almost a hole on top of every single one of these fungi/mushroom. Also the wings (i dont know what to call them) are all awkward shaped. they aren't perfectly round

Habitat:

what looks of it is that it grows on rotting parts of trees. or any sort of rotting old wood.

Notes:

the colours were about all the same. a very light inner part and a darkish brown inside.
