The leafs are around 12 inches long, and 7 inches wide. While the smaller leaf at the top of the plant is about 4 inches long, and 2 inches wide. It has a ovate leaf shape, serrulate leaf margin, pinnate leaf venation, and has an alternate simple leaf arrangement. The plant also has no fruit or flowers.
The plant was found in the Singapore American School rainforest. Singapore is located off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, 85 miles north of the equator.
