A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Musa acuminata
A Banana Tree growing about 15-20 feet in height. The bananas growing on the tree at this time of year (March), are quite small and unripe. The tree had a few spider webs and bugs living on it. So it must be a good resource for food for bugs.
This specific Banana Tree is located in the Singapore American School rainforest. The SAS rainforest is a place where certain trees and plants are preserved in an area where they will not get cut down.
