Spotting

Description:

This flower was a very strange one. It had only one petal and then a (I think it is the stigma of the flower) that was about 2 inches long. The leaves of the plant were about twice the size of the flower and were dark green in the middle and light green on the edges.

Habitat:

I found this in a small field growing very close to other plants of the same species. I think some will die because there isn't enough space to grow.
