German Cockroach Nymph

Blattella germanica

Description:

Small blackish somewhat hard shell. Attempted to stay beneath leaves if possible. Traveled at a fast rate of speed; and stopped on occasion.

Habitat:

The area this specimen was spotted was a County park. The soil was sandy, covered with fallen leaves, and had some dead tree branches laying on the ground. There was no canopy to keep full sun from beating down during the day.

Hi Ric3, I am pretty sure this is a Cockroach (and a nymph). I am not sure of the species at this time but I am looking.
