young white face capuchin monkeys are from venezuela
tree tops
these frightened babies were rescued from a petshop by game wardens. cornered and begging, mothers are shot while the babies will either be shaken off or they will simply come down to their dead mother's side.as pets they clamor to humans for affections and food but as they become sexually mature and frustrated in cages or chains, they are vicious and cannot be let into the wild. unable to fend or be accepted by other packs, they will seek out humans for food.
