Description:

An adult male pygmy short-horned lizard.

Habitat:

Sand patch in a sagebrush shrub-steppe habitat near the Columbia River in central WA state.

Notes:

Found on March 9th, 2013. Located by following the tracks in the sand. Earliest personal observation of this species.
