American Crocodile

Description:

These big crocodiles are well established in the Grijalva River. Many children swim near shore as well as populations of birds. An international high diving championship is also held in this river, not half a mile from where this one was spotted.

Habitat:

Shores of the Grijalva River near Chiapa de Corzo, within the Sumidero Canyon National Park, Chiapas, Mexico.
