Description:

A large woody shrub about 1.5 meters tall (can grow to 5 meters tall). Produces black berries in pairs.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge.

Notes:

It is often used as an ornamental plant. It is resistant to air pollution, and can be kept in a large garden. It may be edible or very unpalatable, or even poisonous. (Wikipedia)
