Common Garter Snake

Description:

Green/black Garter snake with yellow dorsal strip! The sides of this snake were unique, with black spots as well as stripes! The belly of this snake was a blue color!

Habitat:

They tend to live in areas with bodies of water such as ponds, they love tall grass to hide and sneak up in there prey. They’ll hide under rocks as well. Sometimes you’ll find these snakes scurrying across the road or laying there to warm up!
