Description:

Upright plant with medium sized, oval leaves (base) to lanceolate (upper parts) that are shallowly toothed. Clusters of pinkish-purple flowers at the top of the plant. Native.

Habitat:

Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Semi-wooded area near a brackish water source.

Notes:

Has some traditional medicinal uses.
