Tithonia tubaeformis
This is a flowering plant in the family Asteraceae, native to Central America. Years ago, this plant was introduced in Argentina and now is considered a agricultural pest. It is very common to see its showy yellow flowers at sides of roads and wastelands. It is considered that each plant can produce 500 flowers with 40 seeds per flower. Plants can reach big heights and prevent the growth of another species.
